Mexico’s 2010 Bicentennial Celebration

Posted on 16 September 2010

The Celebration continues this morning with school kids parading through the streets. I am in the small seaside town of  San Blas witnessing Mexico’s 2010 Bicentennial celebrations. The fiesta has been going on for the past few days and last night, on the 15th, there was music and dancing on a stage constructed in the town’s main plaza. Hundreds of people were packed into the small square eating,  drinking, and socializing. Happy 200th birthday Mexico!
