Photo of the Week: View of Mt Fuji and Tokyo Tower at Sunset
One of my best moments in Tokyo happened unexpectedly. I took the elevator up to the 16th floor lobby of the Mitsui Garden Hotel, which looks out over a splendid view of Tokyo. In one direction, the high rises were lit on one side in a golden hue. I soaked the view for a moment, before glancing to the setting sun. Wow! Was that a view of Mt Fuju and the elegant Tokyo tower? Yes, it was. What a moment.
I wasn’t staying at the Mitsui Garden Hotel, but I would return for another look at Tokyo Tower and view of Mt Fuji from the lobby.
