Belgrade Churches
Belgrade, Serbia doesn’t have much in the way of traditional tourists sites. Nevertheless, it’s still interesting enough for two days of exploring and two nights bar-hopping. The city’s well-developed hostel scene leads me to believe the city has pretty established bar circuit for backpackers and weekend getaways. For those skipping out on dollar rakiya shots, the city offers a few photogenic churches with a dose of nearby bombed out buildings. In addition to that you won’t want to miss the view from Belgrade Fortress.
The capital of Serbia has seen its fair share of conflict over the years, but is now ready to host visitors. Although neighboring picturesque Sarajevo draws more tourists, Belgrade is worth checking out. Try one of the free walking tours to get your bearings around the old city.
